Privacy policy
This policy explains what we collect when you visit leapoflove.in or buy from us, why we hold it, how long we keep it, and what you can ask us to do with it. It is written to be read, not to be survived. If anything here is unclear, write to us and we will explain it in plainer words.
1.Who we are
Leap of Love is a brand of FX Labs Private Limited, a company registered in India with its registered office at SCO 1066, 1st Floor, Sector 123, Jandpur, Kharar, Rupnagar 140301, Punjab. For the purposes of the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, we are the Data Fiduciary for the personal data described in this policy, which means we decide why and how it is processed, and we are answerable for it.

2.What we collect
We collect only what an order, an account or a conversation actually needs.
- You give us your name, email address, phone number, delivery and billing address, and anything you type into a form, a review or an email to us.
- Your order creates a record of what you bought, when, at what price, the delivery status, and returns or refunds raised against it.
- Your payment is handled by our payment gateway, not by us. We see that a payment succeeded and the last four digits of the instrument. We never see or store your full card number, CVV, UPI PIN or net banking credentials.
- Your device tells us an IP address, browser and device type, and how you moved through the site. This arrives through cookies and similar tools.
- If you join the waitlist or subscribe, we keep the email address you gave and whether you have opened or clicked our emails.
What we hold, and for how long

3.Why we use it
We process your personal data to accept and fulfil orders, to take payment and issue invoices, to arrange delivery, to handle cancellations, returns, replacements and refunds, to answer your questions, to keep the site secure and working, to meet obligations under tax, company, food safety and consumer law, and, where you have asked for them, to send marketing emails.
We do not sell your personal data. We do not rent it, and we do not trade it for advertising with anyone.
4.Consent, and how to withdraw it
Where we rely on your consent, we ask for it plainly and at the time it matters, and we keep a record of it. You can withdraw consent at any time: unsubscribe from any marketing email, or write to care@leapoflove.in.
Withdrawing consent stops future processing that depended on it. It does not undo what was lawfully done before, and it does not remove records we are required to keep, such as invoices. Some processing continues without consent because the law allows it, for example completing an order you placed or meeting a legal obligation.
5.Children
Our products are made for children. Our shop is not. The site, the account and the checkout are meant for adults: you must be 18 or older to buy from us or to create an account, and we ask that children do not submit personal data to us.
We do not knowingly collect personal data directly from a child, we do not track a child's behaviour, and we do not target advertising at children. If you believe a child has given us personal data, write to care@leapoflove.in and we will delete it.
6.Who else sees it
We share personal data only with the partners who make an order happen, and only the part each one needs:
- our ecommerce platform, which hosts the store and its order records;
- payment gateways, which take the payment and carry out refunds;
- courier and logistics partners, who need the delivery address and phone number;
- email and customer service tools, which send our replies and receipts;
- analytics providers, which show us how the site is used;
- advertising platforms such as Meta (Facebook and Instagram), which receive what you view and do on our site, and a scrambled (hashed) form of your email and phone number if you buy or sign up, so we can measure our ads and show them to people likely to be interested;
- our accountants, auditors and legal advisers, and any authority we are legally required to disclose to.
Each partner is bound to use the data only for the service they provide to us. Some of them process data on servers outside India, which the law permits; we take reasonable steps to see that the protection travels with it.
7.Cookies
Cookies are small files a site leaves in your browser. We use the ones that keep your cart and your login working, which the site cannot run without, analytics cookies that tell us which pages are read and where people give up, and advertising cookies and pixels, including Meta's, that tell us when someone who saw one of our ads visits, joins the waitlist or buys. We use these to measure and improve our ads to parents, never to advertise to children.
Your browser can block or clear cookies. If you block the essential ones, the cart and checkout will stop working.
8.How we protect it
The site runs over HTTPS, access to order data is restricted to the people who need it, and payment details never touch our systems. No system is perfect, and we do not pretend otherwise. If a breach affects your personal data, we will notify you and the Data Protection Board of India as the DPDP Act requires.
9.Your rights
Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can ask us to:
- tell you what personal data of yours we hold and who we have shared it with;
- correct anything inaccurate, complete anything missing, or update anything stale;
- erase personal data we no longer need and are not required to keep;
- nominate someone to exercise these rights if you die or become incapacitated.
Write to care@leapoflove.in from the email address on the account. We will respond within 30 days. We may ask for enough detail to be sure it is really you, which protects you as much as us.
10.Grievances
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your personal data, contact our Grievance Officer:

We acknowledge every complaint and resolve it within 30 days. If you are still not satisfied, you may escalate to the Data Protection Board of India as per the relevant procedure.
11.Changes
When this policy changes we update the date at the top of this page. If the change is significant, we will say so by email or on the site. Continuing to use leapoflove.in after a change means you accept the updated policy.
